Steel Garden Privacy Screen 23 to 48 Inches Tall

Steel Privacy Screens are here by popular demand! Made with a beautiful geometric leaf design, this screen is ideal for use as garden decor, wall art, or a metal privacy panel. Hang from the patio roof to partition from the neighbors or stake behind a clematis for a unique garden trellis.

All screens have holes to install them. You can easily purchase multiple screens and install in a shingled layer style for the look of a much larger screen. Turn the screens horizontal or display them vertical. You choose what's best for your garden! You can also purchase our privacy screens with stakes to install in your garden. Choose the color or finish you prefer "+ Stakes" from the drop-down menu. Stakes will ship as a bolt-on kit for quick, easy assembly upon arrival. The staked option is bent at the top for rigidity.

Choose from our selection of colors, the classic naturally rusted finish, or raw steel for a DIY finish. Color finishes are powder coated for a durable, long-lasting finish indoors or out.

The raw steel option will rust with time if left uncoated, but you can prep the surface and paint it any color you like to match your garden and landscape decor. This do-it-yourself raw steel is coated with an oily film to prevent rust during transit. While we use brand new steel and use rust preventative measures on the mild steel, your raw steel can develop slight surface rusting during shipment to your location. This is most likely during transits in high humidity and/or the package being delivered in the rain. Any light surface rust is easily removed by lightly sanding or scuffing with a green scrubbing pad before painting or display.

We recommend lacquer based paint thinner, acetone, automotive brake cleaner or solvent based wax & grease remover to clean the oily film off of the sign before painting. Sanding with a 220 grit or finer sand paper or using a green scrubbing pad to scuff the surface of the metal will greatly enhance paint adhesion. Spray paint with primer is an easy coating for this type of sign. We do not recommend water-based paint on raw steel products as it can cause rust instead of preventing it. Always paint the back side first, so that the front will not be placed down after painting.

Please note that the naturally rusted finish is made of real, rusted steel. Screen has been pre-soaked to begin the rusting process. The patina will only improve with age! Irregular colors are to be expected, and with time outdoors the entire item will turn a golden rusty brown. Rusted steel can stain fabrics and leave residue on your hands. Please be aware that the item may have sharp edges. Gardening gloves are recommended. This finish is not intended as an indoor product. The rusted steel is intended as an outdoor product only as the steel can stain fabrics and walls. This option is best mounted to posts or a garden fence.
